8 WEEK ACTING MASTERCLASS
This is a self-contained course spread over 8 weeks, for anyone wishing to get started in acting or for working actors looking to brush up on their skills.
The course consists of two evenings a week, with one evening focusing on the essential techniques of movement and voice, together with workshops in particular skills such as clowning, improvisation, stage combat and period dance. The other evening will focus on acting and scene work and will see students working with a director on a variety of texts and styles, incorporating both classical and contemporary work.
The course will be delivered by The School’s own team of highly experienced tutors who are all experts in their field and will also feature visits from industry professionals, who will share their experiences and top tips for industry success.

This intensive schedule of acting, voice, movement, Shakespeare, period dancing and stage combat replicates the timetable of the 2 Year Actor Training and culminates on the Saturday afternoon in an informal performance of a contemporary scene.
Growing in confidence and ability, students with either some or no experience can enjoy the course as a self-contained drama school taster or as an audition for full time training at The School.
